Condensed summary of the manga BELT OF BLACK CLOVER :
Asta and Yuno were both abandoned as children, although they were placed together in the same church. There was never a day in their lives when they weren’t together, and they were always friendly rivals. They swore an oath of fealty to each other, agreeing that one of them would become the magic king. As it turned out, Yuno was a genius in the magical arts, whereas Asta was incapable of using magic and instead trained his body to make up for his lack of skill with the supernatural.
After obtaining a mysterious grimoire with a four-leaf clover instead of the more normal three-leaf clover, Yuno is instantly placed in a dangerous scenario, where her true power is exposed. He manages to get his hands on a copy of the “Black Clover” anti-magic grimoire. Friends and foes alike, these two started out on their journey with the same goal in mind.
Black Clover (, Hepburn: Burakku Kurb) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yki Tabata. The serialization began in Shueisha’s young adult manga magazine Weekly Shnen Jump in February 2015. To date (November 2022), its episodes have been collected over 33 tankbon volumes. Asta, a young girl, is the story’s protagonist. She was born without any innate magical talents. There doesn’t seem to be anybody without some kind of magical skill in his universe, thus this is a big mystery. Asta and the other mages of the Black Bulls have a same goal: to ascend to the throne of the Wizard Kingdom.
Xebec Zwei created an original video animation based on the manga that was released in 2017. Pierrot animated a program based on the narrative, and it aired in Japan on TV Tokyo beginning in October 2017 and running through March 2021. There is a plan to release a Black Clover animated film with the working title Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King in Japanese theaters and on Netflix in March 2023.
The North American rights to the English translation of the manga are held by Viz Media, while the anime is licensed to Crunchyroll.
Asta, a little kid who was abandoned and left to grow up in an orphanage, is the series’ main character. Asta didn’t have any special magical skills, but he managed to obtain a mysterious five-leaf grimoire.
